Black Armband Policy

​​The OIFC acknowledges and supports the significance attached to players wearing black arm bands during their match as a small gesture of respect. The Club has determined that black arm bands shall be worn to acknowledge the passing of an individual who has made a significant contribution to the OIFC, in accordance with the following:
1. The black arm band will be worn as a mark of respect to acknowledge the passing of an OIFC player (past or present) or Life Member.
2. The black arm band will be worn as a mark of respect to acknowledge the passing of a Club official or volunteer who has made a significant contribution to the Club as determined by the President.
3. The appropriateness of any other circumstance will only be determined by the President.
4. All OIFC teams will wear the black arm band during their match for that designated round.
